  • Cancellation Policy

    • Minimum of 24 hours notice must be given to cancel or change your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee. 

    • If cancelled within the 24 hours period, a cancellation fee will be charged, this fee will need to be paid before your dog can be rebooked for another appointment. 

    • If appointments are cancelled 2 or more times a deposit will be taken to rebook. 

  • 10 - 15 minutes late / no show 

    • If you are running more than 10-15 minutes late for your appointment, your appointment will have to be cancelled as it will run into the next dog's appointment. 

    • Full price of the groom will be charged for this.

    • This will also apply if you do not show up for your appointment. 

  • Early drop off / late pick ups

    • No early drop off or late pick up allowed unless this has been agreed at the time when appointment was made

    • I do a lot of rescue dogs or dogs that react to other dogs therefore it is not safe to have more than one dog in my presence unless previously agreed to. 

    • Although I have a play area, this is not always free and will be for day care or overnight stays so will be very limited for grooming clients. 

    • If you are more than 15 minutes late after the agreed time of pick up and notice message of 40 minutes there will be an additional charge. 

  • Behaviour difficulties, health issues, nervous, anxious, doesn’t like noise etc 

    • I must be made aware of any of the above, this way I can be prepared to tailor the groom to each individual dog's needs.

    • This is for the safety of the dog and myself.

    • In instances where I cannot complete the groom due to behavioural or health issues the dog will be sent home and full cost of the groom will be charged. 

  • Hyperactive dog 

    • If you have an extremely hyperactive dog I recommend you bring the dog on a long walk the day prior to its appointment and also before the appointment as this will reduce its hyperactiveness. This is in the safety of the dog and me whilst grooming. 

  • Long Haired breeds

    • All long haired breeds need to be on a schedule of 6-12 weeks depending on style desired for the dog and what home maintenance you can do. 

    • This is to ensure the dog is comfortable in its desired style while reducing the risk of matting and ensure the dog is happy and comfortable during the grooming process. 

    • If long haired breeds are not on a schedule it will result in my time not being utilised as best as it should therefore not matching my business model. The longer the dog is off schedule the longer it will take to groom and there will be an extra charge for this. 

  • Matted dogs

    • If your dog is very matted it will require me to shave close to the skin. Due to this there is an increased chance of skin irritation, or skin nicks/ razor burn. In such a case if this occurs Bruno’s Waggly Tail Spa will not be liable for any cost, pet discomfort or other effects following this grooming session. 

    • If the groom cannot be completed in one session full cost will be charged for each session. 

    • Dogs with heavy matted or heavily soiled coats will incur an additional charge and this will be notified to the owner. 

    • If heavily matted dogs require a shave down, the owner will have to sign a waiver to this. 

  • Fleas 

    • If your dog is presented with fleas, the dog will be sent home immediately and full charge of the groom will be required. 

    • However in some instances, the fleas are not spotted until mid groom, the dog will be treated with flea shampoo and will be sent home with an additional charge on top of the full grooming price as the grooming parlour will have to be fumigated and the rest of the day's grooms will have to be cancelled. 

  • Late evening appointments 

    • Late evening appointments will be strictly kept to Monday and Thursday evening. 

    • These appointments will always be the first to go along with Saturday appointments so be sure to book in advance. 

    • If you require a late evening appointment outside of these days this may be able to be arranged but an additional fee will be required. 

  • These terms and conditions are put in place to ensure the smooth running of my small business while also helping to improve the condition of the dog and making the most out of my availability for grooming and also being able to keep my high standard. 

  • These policies will be enforced for the coming year to  guarantee my business running smoothly and reduce the risk of wasted appointment slots and matting of your beloved pooches.
